Dermaplaning is a non-invasive pain-free facial that leaves your skin looking radiant and smoother. The treatment is carried out by gently removing vellus hair (peach fuzz) and dead skin cells on the top layer of the skin. The treatment is quite relaxing and very gentle.
Dead skin cells can dull the skin and by removing this top layer your skin will look and feel fresher. It will give you a flawless finish for your makeup and is beneficial for all ages from 18+.
Dermaplaning can reduce pigmentation and even out skin tone especially if used in conjunction with skin peels.
Because the dermaplaning removes the dead skin cell and vellus hair the application of products ensures deeper penetration and your makeup has an airbrushed and flawless finish
The treatment can be carried out on all Fitzpatrick skin types, however, this is not suitable for active acne, skin peels /million dollar facials can assist in controlling this prior to dermaplaning.
After your treatment, you can experience mild redness for a few hours, and no makeup should be worn until the next day.
This treatment can be carried out every 30 days independently or as part of the Million Dollar Facial system.

Myths
The hair on your face will grow back thicker and heavier, this is not true
Dermaplaning only targets fine vellus hair and it is physiologically impossible for this to grow back darker and heavier.
Terminal hair, thick heavy hair (for example under your lip) would not be removed by dermaplaning as this would affect the growth of hair in this particular area only.
As always strict cross-infection protocols and procedures are adopted during dermaplaning
